So You Wanna Race?, the first race is always the worst, being keen not to make a fool of yourself and concentrating on the actual racing is a way of forgeting something, everyones done it at some time, forgotten their transmitter, charger etc (even I managed to forget my car, how the hell was I going to drive without one, I still don't know)
Right so your at the meeting, things arn't going to well, all you have to do is ask for help, most people will be pleased to help, make sure first that they are not racing or doing something else when you ask them though.
Before you get to the meeting, check the car over carfuly during the week before the race meeting, making sure everything is as it should be, oil in your shocks, motors cleaned etc. Collect all your tools together and spares in a box where you can find them.
Charge the 12v battery a couple of days before you race, also check tyres are still attached to their rims. Take all instruction manuels so as not to breaking the car and being unable to fix it is not an excuse as to the reason you get anoyed and have a go at the nearest persin.
I have prepared (well copied) this checklist for you to tick off before every meeting to make sure you have everything.
You will also need at least 3 sets of crystals so you enbd up in the heat of your ability, not the one you can fit into
